Annually, the medical team comprises doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, working in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) under the Northwest London Critical Care Network Trusts and other Independent Hospitals in London, United Kingdom, comes together to share practical knowledge and experiences, research findings, lessons learnt, and other valuable health information in the critical care unit at the yearly North West London Critical Care Network Conference.

The 2025 conference was held on 13 October 2025, from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM at Cavendish Square, London.

The facilitators introduced participants to different topics on the role of the network and its priorities, as they were exposed to the alternative nurse staffing models in intensive care, Artificial Intelligence in the ICU, Cybersecurity: Trends, Threats and Strategies, patient stories as a catalyst for change, the role of human factors in improving patient safety, and other topics were discussed.

Staff of Chelsea & Westminster Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Imperial College Hospitals NHS Trust, The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust under the Northwest London Critical Care Network Trusts, as well as staff of HCA Healthcare UK and Cromwell Hospital under the Independent Hospitals, were in attendance.

Sponsors of the conference positioned their team at various stands, where they displayed and educated participants on innovations introduced to the health sector for the benefit of patients, healthcare workers, healthcare institutions, and society as a pathway to achieve quality care, effective, and efficient results in the critical care unit. The conference sponsors were Mela Solutions, AOP Health, Medtronic, Teleflex, and Hamilton Medical.

There was a feedback session, which enabled participants to suggest areas of the conference that required improvement for professional growth in the upcoming conference. This will ensure the upcoming conference achieves its objectives and goals.
