The World rely on 21st century technology on her daily activities, the Social Media now makes the World a global community as it reaches more people as fast as possible
Today United Nations Population Funds (UNFPA Nigeria) is worried about high number of out of school children in Nigeria, Gender Inequality, early girl child marriage, People living with HIV/AIDS, community people practicing Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) while SRHR and Family Planning are not being discuss in the society due to traditional norms and so on. This has led the United Nations through UNFPA Nigeria in partnership with Youthhub Africa and Education as a Vaccine (EVA) Nigeria to trained 40 youths at Abuja, Nigeria as Social Media Advocates to use their Social Media Platforms to campaign with the aim of reducing the identified problems.
The youths will make use of their Social Media Platforms to reach and engage people, policy makers, social media influencers on UNFPA programs in Nigeria and also target Local, National and International events
