HIV Prevalence Ranking in Nigeria: Ekiti State the Safest.
Chances of getting infected with HIV/AIDS in Ekiti state, Nigeria’s most educated state with highest number of Professors is pretty low as it ranks number one in the country.
According to the HIV/AIDS prevalence ranking by states published by National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) after the 2013 National AIDS Reproductive Health Survey, Rivers sits pretty at the top while Ekiti is the lowest
The ranking also came as a result of test carried out on persons living with HIV/AIDS.
Base on this report Ekiti State Government and Ekiti State Civil Society on HIV/AIDS in Nigeria (EKCiSHAN) do not relent.

EKSACA revealed they have made tremendous progress to address HIV/AIDS in Ekiti and around the world with far greater urgency and action.
Most importantly, we want Nigerians to know their HIV status. This will reduce transmission because Nigeria is the highest contributor of paediatric HIV in the world
