MICROSOFT INNOVATIVE EDUCATOR (MIE) NIGERIA NATIONAL FORUM

Goals: To inspire the Nigerian MIE Community, elevate their skills and empower them to act as evangelists for Microsoft’s education solutions.

The programmed was held on the 29^th-31^st of January, 2016 at Blowfish Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos

Forum Outcomes: 20,000 Educators Empowered Challenge! Each of Expert will be challenge to directly train 500 teachers (train the trainer sessions) in their geo-political zone for 1 year.

The programme was facilitated by Ms. Jordan Belmonte Nigeria Microsoft Coordinator, she welcomed all participants and elaborated on Microsoft impact and plans for Nigeria

During the National Forum, It was an absolutely amazing time where I had the opportunity to share ideas and seek for information and knowledge on the use of 21^st century technology among other participants. I was able to create many amazing connections with educators around the World.

For the benefit of educators, panelists discussed “How to use 21^st Century devices in Classroom” they revealed their experience in classroom for the program to go beyond theory aspect. Panelists include:

Group Session was introduced as included in the activities, we were placed into groups to perform a task on the use of 21^st Century Technology to solve social problem in our society. I decided to share my experience with other group (Purple) members.

Purple Group involves:
